Michael Zomber has a passion for history and antique arms. Through the collection, care and sale of antique arms, he strives to protect and preserve history. His expertise includes European, Japanese, Islamic, and American arms and armor from the 16th through 19th centuries. He works with others who hold that same passion, to safeguard the past. He is an author, collector, dealer, filmmaker and philanthropist.
Mr. Zomber has been collecting for over 40 years. He has been a guest expert on Tales of the Gun, a series on the History Channel. He is also an international authority on Japanese samurai swords.
A true storyteller at heart, he has written over a dozen screenplays and several historical novels. His written works include Shogun Iemitsu, Jesus and the Samurai, Sweet Betsy That’s Me: A Child of the Civil War, Park Avenue and A Son of Kentucky. He and his wife, Andrea, produced his documentary film Soul of the Samurai. Mr. and Mrs. Zomber established the production company Renascent Films in 1998.
